Frequently Asked Questions

Practical answers about sales audits, fractional leadership and getting started.

What types of business do you work with?

My focus is B2B businesses that need to improve sales performance or build a stronger commercial operation. My experience spans technology, data and agency businesses, from early-stage teams to regional enterprise operations. I also support private equity and venture capital firms and the businesses they back, with scope and reporting responsibilities agreed upfront. We can use an initial conversation to establish whether that experience fits your situation.

Can you work alongside an existing sales leader?

Yes. Support can focus on a particular challenge, such as reviewing the pipeline, strengthening the sales process or developing the team. We agree responsibilities at the start so the work supports your existing leadership.

How much time would you spend with us?

Fractional VP Sales starts at one day per week; Build & Scale starts at two days per week. Retainers have a three-month minimum and are invoiced monthly in advance. An audit is a defined project with its own agreed timetable. We discuss what the business needs before deciding the right level of involvement.

Do you work remotely or on site?

We can agree a mix of remote and on-site work to suit the team and the engagement. Any travel requirements and costs are agreed in advance.

What does it cost?

The Sales Performance Audit is £2,950 fixed fee. Fractional VP Sales starts from £5,500 per month for one day per week, and Build & Scale from £9,500 per month for two days per week. Sales Hiring & Assessment starts from £2,500 for one role and up to three candidates; recruitment consultants’ fees are separate. Additional or standalone support is £1,250 per day.

What would you need from us?

Typically, access to relevant sales information and time with the people involved. We agree the requirements before starting. If CRM data is incomplete, we identify those gaps and work with the information available.

How will we know whether the work is helping?

We agree what progress should look like at the outset. Depending on the problem, that could include stronger qualification, fewer stalled deals, better forecast accuracy or more consistent coaching. Revenue outcomes take time, so we also review the changes in how the team works.

What happens after an audit?

We review the findings and agree the priorities. You can use the recommendations with your existing team or discuss further support if it would help. An audit does not require an ongoing engagement.

How do we get started?
