How your enquiry information and website choices are handled.
Who is responsible for your information?
Scott Boocock operates scottboocock.com and is responsible for personal information collected through this website and related sales enquiries. For privacy questions or requests, email hello@scottboocock.com.

What information is collected?
- Contact and business details you provide when you email, book a meeting or use chat, together with your message and relevant correspondence.
- Meeting details and chat messages processed through HubSpot.
- Website page and interaction information when you allow optional analytics.
- Your cookie preferences, stored in your browser so the site remembers your choice.
The contact form sends the name, email address, optional business name, selected support option and message you enter to FormSubmit for delivery to my email inbox. You submit directly on the website; it does not prepare an email draft or require your email application. It does not automatically create a HubSpot contact. I may add relevant enquiry details to my customer relationship records to manage our conversation.
The Sales Health Check runs in your browser. Its answers are not automatically sent to me or used in analytics. If you choose to share results, a copy is held in your browser tab’s session storage and is available to include in an enquiry for up to two hours. The contact form includes these results only if you select the checkbox. The temporary copy remains in session storage until it is cleared or the tab session ends.
How I use it and the reasons for doing so
I use enquiry information to respond, understand your requirements and discuss appropriate support. This is for my legitimate business interests in handling business enquiries, or to take steps at your request before agreeing a contract. Information needed to deliver agreed services is used to fulfil that contract. I may retain records where needed to meet legal obligations.
Optional analytics and third-party embedded features are controlled by your choices. An enquiry does not automatically subscribe you to a marketing mailing list.
Who processes your information?
FormSubmit (formsubmit.co) receives contact-form submissions and forwards them to my email inbox. Its published documentation states that submissions are retained in its archive for 30 days. Read FormSubmit’s privacy information and submission-retention documentation. Form submission is available without opting in to analytics.
HubSpot provides the meeting scheduler, chat and customer relationship tools. Email, website hosting and other service providers process information needed to deliver their services. Your browser connects to HubSpot when you allow the relevant features or visit its booking page directly. Read HubSpot’s privacy policy for its processing and international transfer information.
If you opt in to analytics, Google Analytics 4 measures page visits, device information and enquiry actions. Google processes this information; see Google’s privacy policy, including information about international processing. Analytics is based on your consent, which you can withdraw using Cookie Settings. The site does not send enquiry text, email addresses or Health Check answers to Google Analytics. Google advertising storage, advertising user data and advertising personalisation are disabled.
If you opt in to analytics, Goji (Gojiberry) provides website visitor identification and activity tracking to help me understand interest in my services. This uses browser and visit information and is controlled by Website analytics in Cookie Settings.
YouTube (Google) provides the optional interview player. No connection to YouTube is made by the embedded player until you explicitly select “Allow YouTube & Load Video”. Loading it can disclose your IP address and browser/device information to Google and allow YouTube cookies or storage. This is separate from website analytics consent. Remove the player to stop further embedded requests, or watch/listen on the external provider’s site under its policies. See Google’s privacy policy.
I do not sell enquiry information. I share it with service providers or professional advisers where needed to respond, deliver services or meet legal obligations.
How long information is kept
Enquiry and correspondence records are kept while needed to respond, manage a relevant business relationship or resolve an outstanding matter. Retention depends on whether an enquiry leads to work, when contact last occurred, and any legal or accounting requirements. You can ask about retention or request deletion using the email address above. FormSubmit states that its submission archive is retained for 30 days. Email copies and any related CRM records follow the enquiry-retention criteria above. Health Check results can be included in an enquiry for up to two hours; the browser copy remains until cleared or the tab session ends. Cookie choices expire after six months.
Your choices and rights
You can ask to access or correct your information, request deletion or restriction, object to relevant processing, or request portability where applicable. You can withdraw optional cookie consent using Cookie settings in the footer. If you have a concern, contact me first; you can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
Removing consent does not undo processing that already happened. Some legal obligations may require records to be retained. Read about cookies and embedded services.
